About the Owner
I’m Eileen Kurillo, founder of Kurillo’s Special Needs Consulting. For more than eight years, I’ve worked directly with children, and schools to create strategies that foster growth, inclusion, and meaningful progress for individuals with diverse learning needs.
I hold certifications in Special Needs Education, Autism Spectrum Disorder in Early Childhood, and Teaching Methods in the Education of Autism, which allow me to combine research-based knowledge with practical, real-world approaches. My focus is on empowering parents, educators, and organizations with the tools and confidence they need to support children both at home and in the classroom.
Beyond my professional work, I also serve as a Volunteer at Spirited Play Labs, as a Play Buddy, where I encourage children to interact with others, build social connections, and explore creative play. This work deepens my passion for helping children thrive through both structured learning and playful, imaginative experiences.
In addition, I am an e-Buddy through the Best Buddies program, e-Buddies — a social platform that creates opportunities for people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities to form meaningful friendships. Through this program, I not only help foster social connections but also support participants in building technology literacy skills that empower them in their daily lives.
At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to ensure that families never feel alone in navigating the challenges of special needs education in life and in schools, and to provide guidance that creates lasting positive change.
